4A-GZE ignitor ok for 3S-GTE?

Hi Everyone, lurker here but I've got a quesion :hmm:

I've got a 87 SC that I plan to "upgrade" :shades: but my 3SGTE motor is missing the ignitor. Should I buy a new 3S one or will the GZE do?

How much are 3S ignitors worth anyway?

im guessing here,but i would say yes that will work,provided you can match the wiring up using both diagrams..i believe most toyota ignitors use the same number of wires going to them.

maybe someone can give you a definate answer but id say yes if i had to choose.

Thanks, I saw a 3S-GTE one on ebay an grabbed it, so I won't have to find out if the 4A one is adequate now.
