It's now common knowledge I have a spine of a slug...... so when these wheels come up for grabs needless to say I held out for a good 40 secs.

Splendid choice, I like that a lot.

In fact I'd say you should rename the car daisy, because she's udderly amazing. I hope she's not a cow to drive. Moooving on, maybe I'd better get to know you a little better before making with the MK2 abuse...

Seriously though I think that looks fantastic. Nice job sir.

All the best,

Owen.

Nice , very nice. i love white wheels looks very tokyo drift !. Do you get any arch rubbing on the back ? Had 255 40 17 on the back of my tubby and thought that was it's limit , just touched the arches . Still good fun , i bet it goes round the bendz like a F1 car :driving:

No mate there's plenty of space, I think I'm gonna put some 5 mm spacers on the back just to bring the wheels in line with the arches. Theres always a debate about 18's and hanldling but I like the way the car looks now, the wheels give it presence. And I think the handling is spot on. It's each to there own and as I don't drive my car round a race track everyday the set up is fine.

the wheels give it presenceYeah my wheels gave the car the M3 look , trouble is it became a magnet for saxos and corsas :hoarder:
Going to have to buy a few tins of white gloss at the weekend now :boogie:

Great eh? We followed a paxo yesterday and it had a tailpipe in the shape of a love heart and it stuck out about 4 inches past the rest of the car. Oh I was well ipmressed, might have to go out and get twin exit double loooorve hearted exhaust system from hell. Not!

How are the white wheels for keeping clean though, I bought my mk2 with a set of shadow chrome wheels on it. I kind of like them but, it really like the look of white wheels :)

www.roh.com.au They are called RT in the passenger wheels section.

hmm thinking about powder coating them. :)

oh yeah - my car is red.

To be honest mate I don't think they will be the best for keeping clean, having said that I've only had em a week. Yup don't mind white wheels on a red car but @ the end of the day it's down to you mate. Could you photoshop some white wheels onto the car so you can get an idea of what it will look like.
