Placed an order for a pair of the 1" wider than standard rear arch repair panels today. Will post a couple of pics of them on here when they arrive middle of next week. Guess I will be needing some fat rubber to fill them now.

oh great news!.. that chap didnt have any photos of the extended arches when i asked, i'm in for a set too in the next couple of months after the engine's in, be well appreciated when you do post the photo's, see if you can't get a shot with one next to the old arch :) how much did they cost shipped to the door?

NOT CHEAP, Cost a little under ?150 delivered fo the pair (i think). Will save a bit of effort having to make my own though.

Just realised this morning that I will have a problem fitting them as I have removed all the suspension arms, hubs etc. so have no way to line the arches up with the wheels acurately. May bring forward the purchase date for my suspension & poly bushes so I can get it all back together.

Will sort out some photos when I get them, just may not be fitting them straight away.

Not bad at all. Very subtle, but it definitely does appear to give a bit more width.

Are those panels steel Gary?

looks great, is that a lip at the top?. do they give an extra 25mm then? Im still waiting for my wheels to come back from welding..tut!.. otherwise i'd know for sure how much extra i have to cover.. look good though!..instant arches

Panels are steel, hard to tell exactly how much wider it is at the moment as it is stuck over the old arches and roughly held on with masking tape . I would guess 20-25mm, will know better when I have cut all the old material out and rough fitted them.

Yes there is a small lip at the top to weld to, would have liked this to have been a little larger, just means I will have to be pretty acurate when I cut the old arches out.

One minor point, they do not have the indent that runs down the side of the car so will probably have a little extra filling and blending to do where they join the car.

Had another look at them yesterday, a couple of points to note, not sure that they are as wide as first though, definately wider though. Also may have some issues refitting the plastic trim to the front of the arch.

Start fitting them tomorrow so will report back when I have more info.
