Its not letting me e-mail this file as its too large.

Not sure if its at my end, Peeps end or both.

Anyone got any solutions?

short of whacking it onto a cd and snail mailing it no.... unless it'll compress?

David Sleith

Already zipped - might try and uncompress and attach it in bits as a trillion e-mails!

Use http://www.twobeds.com/upload/ and create an account(its free so no money is needed) and you will get 50 Megs of space where you can upload things.

Upload it on there then post us the link :)

You should be able to click on the file and another screen will pop up.

If not, then just right click on it and get the link from the properties:)

Once downloaded I get 'The compressed (zipped) folder is invalid or corrupt', is it buggered or am I doing summat wrong?

Just downloaded it and I'm getting the same problem so it looks like the file is corrupt.

If the original file is ok, you could use a program like hjsplit to break it down into email sized parts.

Not sure if this is the one I downloaded earlier - a load of PDF files on the 94+ camry, looks like the toyota mr2 bgb equivelant?

My zip file is ok - but is 113mb in size?

Guess I can try splitting it up and hosting it somewhere...?

Any chance I could send you a memory stick/card?

Don't work for me Fizzy.

When you say that is doesn't work, is that the link or the file?

Any chance I could send you a memory stick/card?

Well thanks! I could always do with more memory sticks.....

....but how do you want the files sent? :P

Seriously though - if you pm me your address, I'll send you a CD with the full archive on (camry 94+ manual) which is around 114mb I believe. The 1mz file is approx 23mb of that.

I tried uploading it to my own web space - but it keeps timing out. :( Maybe I can setup an ftp server temporarily.... :D

If anyone wants to try uploading the file to my server and I'll leave it on there for download.

I have a rev 1 turbo manual on there if anyone wants it...

PM me and I'll send the login details rather than post them to the whole net

Fizzy's just put the manual on my server:
http://guynet.homeip.net/openarea

All I'd ask is that you download overnight so that my internet connection isnt shafted.

Is there also space on the main TB server for the Toyota manuals as they turn up on the net?

Cheers
Guy

The original location of the manuals is working. It had been altered from the original zipped file.

Sorry I wasn't very clear, it came up with the same corrupt zip message.[:(

Cheers for the offer of the Cd but as David's links up and running I think it's got the manual for the late spec 1MZFE which is what I'm after.

If you guys need a permanent place for storing this manual I would be happy to host it for you. I can create a twobrutal file repository so you guys can upload and download files from one place? Up to you let me know.

Cheers
Ben

I just wanted to add that camry manuals starting 2nd generation can also be found here: http://camrystuff.com/

I would advise anyone who needs them or thinks they need them in the future to download and save these themselves. Apparantly camrymanuals.com has gone offline after a request from toyota to remove the manuals. So although I'm sure they can always be found somewhere on the net, their location may change.

All these links are dead :(

Paul Woods

You must remember TB doesn't own the content or webpage that these manuals are on, the internet is always changing and if someone decides to move or delete the information there's not a lot we can do apart from try and find another source.
