Guys,

I have a fuel pulsation damper on the return less fuel rails of my 97 MK4 1mzfe.

I was wondering what the positives and the negatives are of removing it.

and if I wanted to bypass it someway what the best way would be.... I guess Toyota didn't mount in for no reason.

It probally smoothens out the dips in fuel pressure. don't know how useful it is, i got rid of it.
I don't expect to see any dips in pressure becouse of the high capacity of the walbro pump and the fpr's close the the fuel rails.

I think it more to smooth out the pulses from the fuel pump and injectors
I left mine on as it was not getting in the way

Using a good fuel pressure regulator like a Sard fuel reg will dampen the pulsation in your fuel lines.
