Looked at the usual things? Plugs and leads in good condition? Engine timing ok?
Once running is the car ticking over smoothly or do you have misfires?

Help today i spend about 2 hrs with my auto electrican to check all the connection.still couldn't find the problem.
the car is in perfect running order last week
1 checking the spark took the centre plug out from the distributor cap grounded. no spark
2 checked the white/red wire on the coilpack 2 pin plug has 12v yes 12v
3 checked the thick white/red on the amplifier/igniter unit has 12v ignition yes 12v
4 check distributor is plugged in yes
5 ground the coilpack bracket my auto electrician over done it
6 we also checked the 3 pin from the alternator
7 we also ckeck the front fuse box all has power
8 the Engine will turn and can smile pertol
the only think we can think of will either a fautly ignitor or coil pack. is there any crank sensor which i can check. where can i get a coil pack and ignitor how much? thx

Was this a real auto electrician?
Did he test wether the ignitor was switching the coilpack? A 30 second test with a simple LED on the coilpack terminals would reveal if this is a coil/HT issue or a switching issue ie ignitor/ECU/distributor (crank signal is generated from it)
Was the king lead tested for the correct resistance? How about the coil primary and secondary windings?
Have you any fault codes?
