Radiator leak

I'm wondering what the radiators are made of, mines got an 2mm crack near the base of the hot inlet. I'm wondering if I could just spot weld it with my cheapo flux welder?

So, it's on the end tank? If so, wire brush and solder it using a high temp butane torch. That's how the radiator shops do it.
