Yes from a 1994 uk camry 3.0 doner car.I try to disconnect as less as possible when removing the engine, the only thing I can think of is either the fuel pump or the auto box bypass.thx

Let's see if i can hit this one right off the bat.... have you plugged in the original engine fan control relay in the boot? It fits a plug on the V6 harness which has no right being connected to that relay. If it's plugged in, unplug it.

Did i hit a home run?

your pretty good Mr dubyah..

but what if he asks a different question?.....:P
that has come up a few times;)(I did that, and he pointed me in that direction also)

how driveable is it when connected to the fan relay?never tried driving it that way...could be an easy way to stop road testers giving it the big boot full when its been for a wheel allignment/wof/mot/etc...essentially a "valet mode" when its in someone else's care....

Ooh good call sketchy! Though I am soon to be on a link ecu and can 'tamper' with it that way :D

Paul did a good one on mine when I shaved the loom. It'd start - run for 2 secs & die. Was easy when you knew how lol :D

What can i say, it's my job to know, all of you could do the same in your own careers going off very little info, it's nothing really.

There should be a statue of you in Durham, like the one in Rocky. But holding a V6 head in each hand instead of wearing boxing gloves...

if there was a statue it would be made out of v6 and mr2 bits welded together, then he would try and get it remade half way through with a v8/v12, and it would be like one of those animatronic ones saying popular phrases such as "i can only handle 2 pints" or"i can keep a secret about a v8 mk1" even "im secretly a cyborg sent back from the future to make mr2s better".

That's brilliant, how on earth did you work that out?

I used this equation...

(Homebuild + my guide to wiring) + (4000RPM cut - experience / 2) x (spare relay + plug that fits)
__________________________________________________ _______________________________ = X

(69 (best number there is) + 42 (answer to everything))

Wish you could of worked it out before and saved me the two trips to Mark's house.
