ok not relevant to most of us but this is a good diagram all the same,it shows the settings for getting the mixture correct at idle,presuming the TPS,Ignition timing and everything else is correct of course,many thanks to jeremy ross for doing this one.

sorry to sound stupid but what is that actually a picture of? (I.e the device in the picture?)

its the flux capacitor that carries the 1.21 gigawatts of power ,warps the space time continuum and makes time travel possible on a mk1 goldy.... :D one week before JAE im going to go back to now and finish my swap,doesnt a mk2 come with one?

or idle mixture adjustment potentiometer that sits on the rear bulkhead next to the MAP sensor.

The flux capacitors were an optional extra on the revision 3 onwards :^o

I am pretty sure the mix on my car is adjusted via the AFM and a screw on the throttle body.
