Anyone gone for 17 inch wheels oop front and 18's on the rear. Is it a good combo or just look out of place?

It's not that easy to tell to be honest. It gave mine almost a nose down stance?

i agree the nose down stance does make a lot of difference to the mk2 . Style wise its not as good at the back as front. 255 40 17 as a min profile :-)

I prefer one or the other tbh - i don't like the mix n match sizes.

I have an 18" set of Work VS-XX's - 8s and 9s going on the tubby as well as a cheapie set of 17s too. The V6 has a kermit green set of staggered 16" Enkei's on it which i love.

I think - for any mk of 2 - a good staggered set of alloys looks the dogs danglies... :thumbsup:

Staggered width on the same diameter is a must! But, different diameters sucks donkey dick.

255 on the back? My arse! Get some 275's on there ;)
