Dont know if its called the same in the UK but ive been using bitumen undercoating to recoat the area around the wheels, and now im wandering if this stuff can be used on some of the supension parts.

Ive been powdercoating some stuff but my machine broke down yesterday and it will be weeks before i can get another one. I think the bitumen should do fine on the big parts like the lower suspension arms. Its ment for corrosion and stone chip protection and it wont scratch or come of easily. And its cheap as chips :P

So.. any id's on this? Any disadvantages i havent thought of?

Go to a paint suppliers and get a can of black stone chip leaves it slightly textured but also rubberise and the good hing is you can paint over it with what ever paint you want
