Well as of 5pm today, my car roared back into life! God these things are loud with no exhaust!! :jump:
Apologies for the lack of build thread on this one but it's been an on and off project over the last year due to various other commitments.
Anyway, there's a few pics in my gallery and i'll try and get a vid of it running tomorrow.
There's still loads to do before it's back on the road but i can finally see light at the end of a very long tunnel. I felt so relieved to get it running as it's the first time i've stripped an engine down to so many pieces.
I'd just like to thank the two guys that made it possible:
Paul Woods, whose advert on Imoc first put the idea in my head, and also for the wiring guide which was spot on.
Tony Warren (FourVeeSix), for the headwork, flywheel mod, and engine mount.
Also thanks to both these guys for the replies to numerous PM's and emails when I got stuck! :praise2:
I'm back off to the garage now to :drool2: over my engine bay!
Chris
