View Full Version : BC Coilover set as seen on ebay
Hi,
Seen these on Ebay,
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BC-Racing-Coilovers-BR-Series-Toyota-MR2-AW11-86-89_W0QQitemZ350169029929QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Cars Parts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item350169029929&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1689%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C 240%3A1318
Does anybody know what they are like ? Are they worth going for over the koni set up ?
fuck me..not with spring rates of 12kg rear and 6kg front..!!
im sticking some on KYT II as a tester (yes i know theyre budget coilovers but i can justify the expense over refurbing crappy 20yo strut cases, and there are absolutely no reviews for the mk1, suck it and see)..
gone for 7kg rear and 4kg front..good thing is springs cost £25 so you can change them at a later date..
heres a thread about them http://forums.twobrutal.com/showthread.php?t=14182&highlight=coilovers
Thanks, I did think that the spring rates seemed wrong, I thought it might be a misprint or something.
Thanks for the link :blabla:

youve gone for a set of BC Racings? once ive got my dyno running we can give them a run on it if youre up for it, do some proper analysis instead of trusting the graphs they have provided (which arent even clear in what they read). can have a look at the overall dynamics of the damper as well, which is equally as important as the valving characteristics
be happy for you to do whatever you can to shed some light..
