Best place to tap a switched live? (mk1)

As per the title, I have a sequential shift light and a wideband air/fuel gauge to fit. Is there a convinient place to tap off a switched live feed in the dash area?

Also I guess the shift light could be connected straight to the rev counter signal line where it enters the dash?

You can use the feed for the hazard switch too if required.

For info if anyone else fits a shift light to their mk1, the rev counter signal can be taken from straight behind the dash panel. Colours may vary but the pin you want is marked 'IGN-' (fifth wire from right -black)

Yep, we use that for the aftermarket Rev counter an all. :thumbsup:
