Ok, has been a while since the swap was done and ok I might have the HG to sort out but I'm taking the time to do a bit to the body and try get rid of some rust/fit new funky parts as I go.

So far not done much but have made a start.

Have stripped the interior out for the soundproofing removal and thats all done now, and repainted, just the carpet and centre trim to go back in.

the rust above the windscreen has been ground away and the metal treated, just trying to get a decent surface to get some paint on, bloody reacted for some reason last time and the paint bubbled in one section, so gotta try again.

Bit of rust at the front of the sill has been treated and gotta be smoothed off now.

Both front wings are probably gonna end up in the bin at some point and new ones (might not be metal ones tho) added to the mix.

Hopefully be developing a one piece engine/boot lid with maybe a plumbly spoiler added. But that is a future plan.

Front bumper is off and I desperatly need a new bar to replace the crumbly pile of rust thats currently there.

Oh and of course. Finally got one of the doors attached to the car on the new hinges. Cheers Rowan, I finally got round to using then :)

One thing I can't decide on is what to do with the bits of metal trim running up the sides of the windscreen and top of the rear Quarters. Do I Satin Black it, of mirror finish it. The pic of the mirrored one does not do it justice. I am possibly planning on a black roof so the mirror finish may help to break it up a little.

NIce work Paff. Just wondering if those hinges are custom or not? Do they move nicely? Soo want them too:)

Nope think they are universal. Move very nice altho the ram is a bit overpowered.

Am looking at getting them remade at some point in the future but adapted to fit the mk1 better as they don't quite fit perfect.
