you shouldnt have to use any part of the mk1 shafts. use all the turbo drive shafts.. and only the new CV joints. the correct part number is OJ0220/30

if you have OJ0220 or OJ0330 its wrong.. you want 'OJ0220/30'.. i had a problem with mine too when they arrived.. seems the people at parts in a box sometimes get them mixed up.

if you have the correct part number.. they might have packaged the wrong shafts up.. im begining to think parts in a box dont have a clue what they are boxing up.

Where did you get the cv joints from, please, as I've been waiting for 6 weeks for parts in a box and still no sign of them ?

Do you have a contact number and part number for the correct ones.

Edited to say: Spoken to Euro Jap Parts and they have them on the shelf, but 90 +VAT for the pair.

yep so have i,in fact the guy rang me yesterday out of the blue to apologise for the cv's not getting to me during the easter break! hes well aware who twobrutal are as we have ordered that many kits from him....maybe i should try to negotiate a little club discount?

I know partsinabox have let a few people down on the odd occassion but in general ive found them to be a very professional company.

abs rings just lye around diameter, no worries, although handy to have for future possibilities. paul, the guy you want to speak to is adrian, the lady is hostile for discount work and whinges about bieng only supplier. i did ask a while Back but gave up waiting... he said it was on his to do list.

just wonderin but do the cv joints off of an automative supercharged mr2 work for the v6 swap or is it just the manual cv joints that work?

Paul Woods
18-05-2006, 06:48
no both auto and manual SC outer cv's will work...if you can find some! i paid ?150 for two back when i did my swap, that was until we knew about partsinabox.

Did we ever manage to get a club discount Paul? Just wondering before I order these today?

Also, the searchOJ-0220/30 brings up http://www.partsinabox.co.uk/cgi-bin/ss000001.pl?SS=OJ-0220%2F30+&PR=-1&TB=A&SHOP=&ACTION.x=17&ACTION.y=10 which are only ?30 for "both sides"

Thats not right is it??

Methinks they mean suitable for both sides, NOT sold as a pair...

Sorry!

Owen.
